The Event (Sign Up Today)
The 12th Annual Dive for a Cure event is going to be at Woahink Lake, in the day use area gazebo in Florence, OR. Sign in is at 9:00 AM September 15, 2019. We will have an underwater poker run, several above water games, a keynote speaker and a family BBQ. There are many opportunities to win GREAT prizes, including diving gear, and more prizes added every day.The day starts with check in and a last minute opportunity to donate or purchase raffle tickets. Divers will need to start gearing up for the poker run. Prizes are awarded to the best hand and runner up. Topside games are open to divers and family members and include the OctoToss where you can test your ability and aim and the fin race where winners are frequently determined by photo-finish!In between the competitions and the prize drawings, Burgers on the Run will once again provide all participants with an outstanding lunch complete with choices of deluxe hamburgers, garden burgers, hotdogs, chips, salads, beverages and dessert. Delicious!The Dive for a Cure event relies upon sponsors and the participants to make it a great event. To date more than $1,000,000 has been sent to the OHSU Cancer Institute.
