Post-Clean up party: tbd nearyby, OSC to sponsor food and goodies.
An Oregon Beach Cleanup effort was by far the winner at our last club meeting for a volunteer effort to participate in!
This will be a great way to interact with other club members, get to know each other, hang out, have fun and make a positive difference to the environment at the same time.
Please Please consider participating. We always have a great time on club dives, and I think this will be a great time too!
This volunteer event is sponsored by SOLVE, a non-profit group that brings together those who would like to volunteer to restore and take care of our natural spaces.
Please follow the below link to register. I created a group 'Oregon Scuba Club', so please choose the option 'I am registering myself as part of a group' and choose our club. I think it took me less than a minute to sign up.

The site recommends to bring an old colander or kitty litter scoop to sift the sand for smaller items like cigarette butts.
Don't forgot that afteward we will all go out and get some free food thanks to OSC. Non-members can still join in for a donation.
